In March of 2022, TypTap celebrated its first anniversary as a separate company. We have accomplished tremendous growth and while all indications reflect strong top and bottom-line results for TypTap, our most important advancement occurred off paper – the development of our human capital. Due to our recent success, we announced promotions across all departments and recognized our employees for their prudent efforts.
The pandemic and recent industry challenges presented trying times for everyone. Amid the difficulties, our team remained steadfast to TypTap’s mission of providing quality service and simplified insurance. We’re honored to recognize and celebrate team members who embody the TypTap mission.
None of our success would happen without the hard work and dedication of the Team TypTap. Together we reached incredible milestones including:
- Starting 2021 writing business in one state and ending it operating in twelve
- Doubling the size of our year-over-year business in Florida
- Adding premium in our expansion states and transitioning the UPC Insurance policies in the Northeast
- Starting the UPC transition in the Southeast
- Ensuring that TypTap is fully funded –no outside capital was required in 2021 to accomplish our growth objectives
- Successfully comparing positive underwriting results with predictions (expected outcomes)
- Continuing to prove our Exzeo technology as a key differentiator
TypTap is fortunate to have such great team members as we continue to reach for greater success as the company grows. This forward-thinking attitude and promotion from within will help us achieve our objectives in the years ahead!
